

If you already have a Pi, you do have to take extra steps to install the software. And you don’t have to purchase the cords you need to connect it to the TV of your choice. The kit is recommended because the operating system is already installed on it. Since we’re streaming video games, we’ll be using an ethernet cable. There are many Raspberry Pi kits on the market, but for my project, I chose a CanaKit model that came with every Pi element I needed: a Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB), a USB-C power adapter, a mini HDMI to HDMI cable, a 64GB microSD card, a case to house the Pi, a cooling fan, and a USB card reader, and a Pi switch.
